The house they stumbled upon was a Federalist Revival with great bones that spoke to the city’s distinctive place in history. They knew it needed a complete overhaul and Brittany trusts her instincts as an experienced crafter to take on the biggest thing she’s ever done as a home renovator!
Brittany Jepsen is a crafter, designer, artist, stylist and blogger of The House That Lars Built, a design & lifestyle brand focusing on the ‘whimsical and makeable.’ She has amassed a community of fans who seek to create an artful and more colorful world. Brittany’s blog took on a life of its own and soon it became a full-time job. It has since become a popular destination for crafters, artists, and people looking to create their own happy place at home. She’s building out her house, taking it down to the studs and designing it with her team…and she just happens to be running her business out of the basement!
