Leaving it All for Lucerne
LaCrosse, Wisconsin natives Scott and Cathy weren’t ready to be “empty nesters,” so they didn’t tihnk twice about selling their home and business when Cathy was offered a job in Lucerne, Switzerland. But choosing a new home might be more difficult than the decision to move abroad. Cathy’s biggest concern is her commute and wants to live close to the train station in town. But Scott wants a view of the Swiss Alps, and they have to live further outside the city to get it. Scott’s going to have to convince Cathy to make a tradeoff so he can have a true mountain vista.
A Taste of Taormina
After 30 years in New York working as a jazz singer, Antoinette is moving to Taormina, Sicily to reconnect with both her ancestral and culinary roots. She’s relying on her small next egg to help her to find a cozy kitchen and views of this picturesque locale. But this Italian foodie faces an uphill battle finding everything she wants in one of the Mediterranean’s priciest cities as House Hunter International gets a taste of Taormina, Sicily.
Serpentine Valley Rally
Chris and Sheryl had been living in Chris’ native New Zealand but decided the time had come to settle down and start a family. They’re moving out to the Serpentine Valley, a rural suburb of Perth, Australia, so they can purchase a big block of land where Chris can run his construction business and where Sheryl can own horses. Sheryl’s been dreaming of having her own horses her whole life, but finding a block of land big enough for everything while sticking to the budget won’t be easy. Sheryl would also prefer something that’s move-in ready, but builder Chris doesn’t mind a fixer-upper, especially if it helps him save a little money. Find out if Sheryl’s equestrian dreams come true as House Hunters International visits the Serpentine Valley.
No Show in Cabo
Bob and Indya have grown tired of cold Oregon winters. These outdoor enthusiasts are looking for some fun in the sun. After visiting San Jose del Cabo, they decided it was time to invest their hard-earned savings in a second home for their family. Less touristy than its popular neighbor, Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo is an authentic colonial city filled with culture, fantastic restaurants and a vibrant art community. These snowbirds are excited to make their dreams of warm-weather living a reality.
Yes and Nosara
Lee and Ginger were frequent travelers but settled down in Savannah, Georgia when they had their daughter Camille. When she was old enough, they took a trip to Nosara, Costa Rica and fell in love with its remote atmosphere and were inspired to move there. Camille loves nature but is nervous about the move, so Lee and Ginger want to get the perfect home to ease her concerns. Ginger wants a family friendly home in a community near Camille’s school, while Lee thinks that a remote jungle environment will spark her creativity as House Hunters International moves into Nosara, Costa Rica.
