Home in Aguadilla
After 10 months of traveling the world, a trip to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico convinced Dan and Allison to call the area home. But on the hunt for their first home together, this couple encounters a stark difference of opinion: she would like to make their new home match her tastes with renovation, but after their lengthy travels, Dan would like to enjoy their new city in a relaxing turn key home as House Hunters International surfs the coast of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
Divided Over Design in Dublin
Washington, D.C. area couple Pamela and Sean are honoring a wedding day vow to live abroad by moving to Dublin, Ireland, for his new job. But it’s not “happily ever after” when it comes to house hunting. While she wants Irish character and charm in a new apartment, Sean would prefer something modern with an open-floor plant. No matter what type of place they choose, it needs to be close to Sean’s bus for work and within Pamela’s strict budget.
Three for Tasmania
Now that Neil and Claire have a baby, they long to live a simpler lifestyle. So when Neil gets offered a new position, they pack up and move across the continent to the remote northwestern corner of the island of Tasmania. Scared of the lack of human interaction that could prevail, Claire presses to live near town. But Neil has his heart set on a more rural setting, not to mention a million dollar view. Since Claire and baby Summer will be home all day while Neil is working, whose location will win out?
Big Family in the Hi-Rise City of Penang
The Hood family loves Portland, but when dad Luke’s work proposes relocation to Penang, it’s an offer this adventurous family can’t refuse. Moving across the world with three young kids won’t be easy. Luke wants the most authentic experience possible, including a hi-rise that’s sure to tower over everything they’re used to in Portland. Mom Audrey is concerned that the kids need something that feels a little more like home, and her fear of heights only adds to the complications. Their budget is average, but their wish list is long. They’ll have to work together if they want to find a way to reduce the gap, cultural and otherwise, in Penang.
Lake Como Como Como Chameleon
Life was hectic in Canada before Sergio and Arlene sold off their family pharmacy. But now that they’re free of those obligations, they have the time and money to commit towards finding a dream vacation home in Lake Como Italy where they can eventually retire as well. But with two teen boys along, retirement isn’t on the horizon just yet and they’ll have to find a property that meets everyone’s needs. Both Sergio and Arlene want plenty of space for the whole family, but while Arlene is looking for gorgeous views and great amenities, Sergio is more concerned with the basics like budget and making sure there’s parking nearby. See which sensibility prevails as House Hunters International takes a dip in Lake Como, Italy.
